Midwifery Services
New Life Midwifery offers individualized care through your pregnancy, birth and postpartum seasons, for healthy women desiring an out of hospital birth. Our belief is that each pregnancy and birth is a sacred event that deserves attention and care that unlocks the strength in the birthing families.
Midwifery Services
If you choose to hire New Life, your care would follow a traditional appointment schedule throughout your pregnancy. Your prenatal visits will be at Trillium House. We will attend your birth either in your home (within a 30 miles radius of Trillium House) or at Trillium House Birth Center. Your newborn and postpartum care is in home for the first 2 weeks and in office until 6 weeks. Owner and licensed midwife, Julia Bradner will provide the majority of the care, with licensed midwife Savannah Fassero working part time.
We can offer in office lab services, ultrasounds and testings. We work closely with other maternal health professionals and can promptly refer for additional needs that arise.
Our philosophy of care is built upon a woman-centered approach and shared decision making. We believe that when individuals inform their intuition, and commit to research and understanding, they can unlock true strength. We work to build trust and engage in conversations as you make decisions about your care.

Yes! We are happy to help welcome your baby in the water, if you birth at Trillium, we can provide the tub. If you are birthing at home we can connect you with a rental option for a portable birthing tub.

$5500, $500 deposit to begin care, payment in full by week 34. There will be additional fees for labs and ultrasounds. You will be responsible for ordering a birth kit (around $75) through our supplier.

Each insurance company differs. If private insurance companies or share groups are going to cover the cost, it will be through reimbursement at the end of the 6 weeks postpartum visit. Individual arrangements to pay by week 34 should be made by each family. We work alongside a billing company that you can obtain a verification of benefits and filing insurance and share groups. The company charges a 10% fee of any reimbursement obtained, and no fee if no reimbursement occurs. New Life is unable to do billing outside of the company. New Life is a Medicaid provider.

Julia Bradner is the primary midwife, however consults and collaborates with the midwives listed at Trillium House. Though you will primarily see Julia for your visits, the collaborating midwives will cover when needed. Savannah Fassero, CPM will join New Life part time starting in April 2025.
